Reading with Trevor Naylor, an interview with Shelf Awareness

Shelf Awareness, the American daily online publishing newsletter, interviewed Trevor Naylor, author of Cairo Inside Out (AUC Press, 2017) and co-author of A Roving Eye: Head to Toe in Egyptian Arabic Expressions (AUC Press, 2014). His latest book Egypt Inside Out, with photographs by Doriana Dimitrova, has just been published (AUC Press, 2020). Cairo Inside Out is now out also in paperback (AUC Press, 2020).

In their Q&A, Shelf Awareness wanted to know what a writer like Naylor, who has been a resident of Egypt since 1986, is currently reading, loves to reread, read secretly as a child, considers his favorite authors and favorite books, and the books that perhaps changed his life!
