Araldo De Luca
Alessia Amenta has a PhD in Egyptology at “La Sapienza” University in Rome and has participated in several excavations in Italy and Egypt. Araldo De Luca was born in Rome in 1952. Considered one of the greatest photographers of statuary and jewelry in the world, De Luca has developed sophisticated lighting techniques that allow his seductive images to communicate the passion that the artists invested in their work. He is the author of the photos published in the books The Illustrated Guide to the Egyptian Museum and Treasures of the Valley of the Kings (both AUC Press 2001).
