James Steele studied architecture at the University of Pennsylvania and is currently Associate Professor in the School of Architecture, University of Southern California. He has practiced as an architect in the United States and is a contributor to Architectural Design, Architectural Digest, World Architecture, and other magazines. His previous publications include six volumes in the Architecture in Detail series.
