The Guest of Honor for this CIBF 2022 is Greece and the author highlighted is the late Egyptian writer and novelist Yahya Hakki.
You will find the biggest selection of English-language books at best prices. During the two-week book fair, AUC Press has a number of special offers and discounts. There is a discount of up to 20 percent on AUC Press’s backlist and all new AUC Press titles, while the books displayed in the bargains area of the AUC Press Stand are on sale for up to 75 percent off, with prices ranging from LE30 to LE1200.
The Naguib Mahfouz Centennial Library: Celebrating One Hundred Years of Egypt’s Nobel Laureate (AUC Press), which includes all of Mahfouz’s novels, three collections of short stories, and his autobiographical writings in a single library of twenty hardbound volumes, is on sale for LE1200, down from its original price of LE3500.
In addition, the AUC Bookstores offer a 10 percent discount off all general books and a 15 percent discount off all children’s books on sale by AUC Press at the Book Fair.
Visitors purchasing books at the AUC Press Stand can participate in a raffle. Five winners will be drawn at the closing of the CIBF and presented with a LE500 voucher.
