AUC Tahrir Bookstore hosted a fascinating conversation with Egyptian-American writer Sherif Meleka about his novel, Suleiman’s Ring, recently published under AUC Press’s fiction imprint, Hoopoe, in March 2023.
Enthusiastic attendees gathered in AUC’s flagship bookstore to immerse themselves in the tale and the creative talent behind it. Meleka engaged the audience with insights into his imaginative process and the intricate balance in his novel between history and fantasy, while moderator Suzan Kenawy, AUC Press and Bookstores Marketing Manager, guided the conversation through the nuances of Meleka’s literary work.
