The Chiltern Bookshops in the UK are set to host celebrities and authors to celebrate Independent Bookshop Week
On Saturday, 22 June, there will be two special events featuring the renowned cardiac surgeon and scientist, Professor Sir Magdi Yacoub, who will be signing copies of his first authorized biography, A Surgeon and a Maverick: The Life and Pioneering Work of Magdi Yacoub by Simon Pearson and Fiona Gorman, foreword by Mary Archer.
The first event will take place at Chorleywood Bookshop, from 10am to 11am, followed by the second event from 12:30pm to 1:30pm at Gerrards Cross Bookshop.
