This literary multigenerational epic is set at the collapse of Muslim rule in Medieval Spain. The discussion will feature the trilogy award-winning translator Kay Heikkinen, moderated by ArabiLit editor, translator, and literary critic Marcia Lynx Qualey, who will be in conversation with the award-winning translator Sarah Enany, and Mayte Green-Mercado, associate professor of history and Director of Institute for the Study of Global Racial Justice at Rutgers-Newark.
